The accommodation
The Farmhouse "La Vecchia Fontana" is a rustic farmhouse located on the edge of the Gran Sasso National Park. It enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the valley of the river Fino. At about 15 km is the natural oasis of the WWF, Lake Penne, while in Arsita (7 Km) you can visit the Museo del Lupo, a small tourist-cultural structure dedicated to one of the Park's symbolic animals. Nearby is the Camoscio d'Abruzzo reserve with the "cascade of the golden calf". It is possible to visit (1 km) a small museum with the ancient tools of the peasants. For the more adventurous you can go hiking on the nearby "Cima della Rocca" from which you can admire a panorama that ranges from the Gran Sasso and Monte Camicia to the sea with most of the provinces of Teramo and Pescara. The location of the farm is ideal for anyone looking for peace, tranquility and relaxation with their loved ones in a cozy and familiar at the same time.
