Cerignola (Foggia) Code FG07102051000020020
Agriturismo Moschella is located 15 km from Cerignola and 2 km from the village of the same name. It is part of an organic farm producing cereals, legumes, vegetables and aromatic herbs.
The rooms have views on the hills, and from our agritourism you can see the Vulture, an ancient volcano.
It is a place away from traffic, surrounded by nature, in which you can be awakened by the crowing of the rooster, the greeting of the donkey or the chirping of the birds that abound.
From here you will be able to start or continue the Ofanto cycle route. You can explore on foot or by mountain bike the nearby Capacciotti Dam valley, the Vallone dei Briganti and the Ofanto River itself, located just 100 m from the facility.
We speak Italian, French, English and Spanish.
The rooms are spacious (30 to 40 square meters) and highlight the architectural elements of the old Posta delle Pecore, which was this place before it became part of a family farm that has been handed down to us for 4 generations. Breakfast will be served in what was once a barn and is now our finely renovated restaurant, where we strive to serve products as much as possible from the farm or the local area and in many cases organic, without industrial preparations.
Olivo Room: The quadruple suite consists of two adjoining rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. A mini-bar, a kettle with herbal teas are at your disposal.
Grano Room: The quadruple room is equipped with a double bed and two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer. Use of wi-fi, minibar (on consumption), television and air conditioner (hot and cold) are available to guests. A kettle with herbal teas is at your disposal upon request.
Fico Room: The Fico triple room is fully accessible to people with disabilities. It can eventually become communicating with the grano room, the latter a quadruple room. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer, television, mini-bar, air conditioner (hot and cold).
The price includes breakfast prepared from high-quality local raw materials.
A kettle with herbal teas is available upon request.
If you are passing through or if you intend to stay more than one night, it is always possible to have lunch or dinner at the farmhouse, notifying us at least the day before your stay, as the restaurant is open by reservation only. We will be happy to meet your needs, regarding intolerances, allergens, special dietary regimens. But also on questions regarding arrival and departure times, parking of special vehicles...in short, we will know how to listen to you! Our agritourism is family-friendly, gay-friendly and pet-friendly, but we will charge an extra 5€ per night for your beloved four-legged friend.
The Moschella agriturismo is also an Apulian educational farm. It is possible to conduct workshops for a fee or simply get close to the animals and walk in the synergistic garden.
Meals can be taken in the large dining room, on the terrace or in your room.
Wi-fi is available to guests.
The agritourism collaborates with a number of local businesses to offer recreational and relaxing activities for its guests: there are visits to an organic winery in Puglia, mountain-bike and e-bike rides (for rent), organized by In Daunia. The same partner organizes guided tours with excursions of medium difficulty, starting from the farmhouse, but also in the Itria Valley and the Umbra Forest, on the Gargano.
We are located on the Ofanto River, on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, regions rich in history and natural beauty. If you are on vacation, we can advise you on the sites, more or less touristy, of cultural, historical, naturalistic interest, which will be within reach of your car or bike. If you are a big (or small) sportsman, there is plenty of room with us for running, jumping, mountain biking trails... If you are traveling as a family, you will have spacious rooms and a crib available, at no extra charge. We will know how to listen to your requests and those of your children.
