The agriturismo
Surrounded by a large park, just 13 km from the splendid sea of Porto Cesareo and a little more from other renowned seaside resorts, stands the ancient Masseria San Giovanni.
The accommodation
The building dates back to 1709 as it is registered in the Catasto Onciario of Salice Salentino of that age. The plan retains the typical plant with inners but the building is unique for the big octagonal hall which offers an unusual eight ribs vault and an original and stately fireplace, today made into a restaurant dining hall.
