Località Laparo, SS7 ter, km 76+260, Laparo 73100 Lecce (Lecce)
At 6 km from Leece, and just a few more to the sea, the farm sits on the top of a 24-hectare estate, a portion of which is dedicated to cultivating olive groves.
The hospitality offered in this agriturismo is focused on the concept of la dolce vita: relaxation with the whole family, friends or on your own, in the comfortable lounge chaises by the swimming pool, in the peaceful Salento countryside, lulled by the gentle breeze.
The structure was originally composed of two brick buildings dating back to the early 1900s; careful renovation have preserved the architecture and atmosphere of the past; the comfortable and stylishly furnished guest rooms have private bathrooms.
The lovely swimming pool is surrounded by olive trees and flowers, and furnished with umbrellas, lounge chairs and chaises, a modern shower and bar.
The organic farm produces olive oil, jams, fruits and vegetables, which can also be purchased at the sales point; there is also a complete restaurant offering wine and food.
The agriturismo provides mountain bikes for riding along the roads around the estate, through fragrant countryside and in the midst of centuries-old olive groves, every now and then happening upon local wild animals. The well-kept fenced forest around the agriturismo also has an area set up as a children’s playground.
The city of Lecce is easy to visit at only a few minutes by car, with its spectacular baroque architecture.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lu Panaru. Chiara and Alessandro were excellent, the ultimate in professionalism.
They were both extremely hospitable.
The food, wine and coffee were some of the best we have had in Italy. Breakfast choice and presentation was lovely.
The pool was amazing after such a run of hot weather. It was fefreshing and very clean. Even the kiosk by the pool served lovely snacks, cool drinks and ice creams.
As a light sleeper I loved the serenity of Lu Panaru and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the madding crowd.
Stayed 3 nights, a bit hard to find from Australia. This hidden gem was worth finding.
Staff are warm, generous and helpful.
We were especially impressed by our waiter Alessandro, between his limited Englaise and my even poorer Italiano. We had a most amazing stay.
Great room, fantastic pool, food unbelievable, excellent selection of regional wine, locale produce, restaurant spectacular, facilities 10 out of 10.
Can't speak highly enough of this venue.
