The agriturismo
This family run farm is located in the Serrano region, in the province of Lecce.
Guests can taste and purchase typical Salento produce, with that little extra something special added by Francesca and Giulia.
The dishes tell of ancient traditions: simple and tasty, prepared using simple herbs and wild plants, homemade pasta, bread baked in a wood burning oven, the farm’s own organic vegetables, wine, oil and liqueurs...
The farm also produces natural cosmetics (oils, soap and creams).
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in four independent rooms, with air conditioning, TVs, free Wi-Fi and private ensuite bathrooms.
You can choose from B&B or half-board.
The silence of the countryside and the nocturnal whisperings of nature, the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate body and spirit...
The hot water and electricity are generated by the farm’s own solar and photovoltaic panels.
Activities and surrounding
All guests have access to various outdoor spaces, where you can relax with a good book (or just admire the plants and nature) and a large lounge which houses the restaurant, tasting sessions, and a selection of different classes, from local crafts to yoga.

We had an excellent stay at Lu Schiau. The place is charming and quiet in the countryside and very close to the sea. Ideal location for visiting Salento.
