The agriturismo
Masseria Galatea is an agri-tourism company composed of young farmers. We dedicate ourselves, with care and passion, to the production and transformation of local products, belonging to the rural tradition of Salento. With the same attention and curiosity, we welcome our guests in an informal and familiar atmosphere, offering them services in harmony with nature and guiding them through stories and secrets to intensely spend their trip in Puglia. Aware of living in a place steeped in poetry and authenticity, where stone dominates, shines in the sun and carries with it the vivid memory of a rural past, we are pleased to revive the uses of real Apulian farms with all of you, feeling people more and more proud and satisfied with the job we do.
The accommodation
Masseria Galatea is located in Alessano, in Salento, in the extreme part of Puglia.
Through a careful and eco-sustainable restoration, our double rooms preserve the rural soul of a apulian farmhouse, with all the forms and elements belonging to the tradition of a sober and genuine land.
In a balanced way and without excess, each double room incorporates all comforts: private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV, wi-fi, mini-fridge, bathroom towels and pool towels.
The awakening in Farmhouse Masseria Galatea is enlivened by the smells and flavors of a rich breakfast buffet, served in a wonderful room with vaulted ceilings, warm and welcoming atmosphere, or outdoors, in the silence of the majestic inner courtyard .
Among the centenarian olive and fruit trees, there is a refined swimming pool for the exclusive use of our guests.
An ideal place to spend, in absolute tranquility and privacy, the hottest hours of the day, resting on a deck chair and admiring the horizon, through the vivid colors of the Salento countryside, the ancient messapic village of Montesardo.
Following a path that runs along our farm, you can visit the educational vegetable garden, the olive grove, the orchard and a charming country landscape embellished with spontaneous plants typical of the Mediterranean Macchia.
You will experience a sensory and emotional journey that gives peace and well-being to the visitor's mind.
