The accommodation
The family-run Donna Bianca farmhouse is located in the Pollino National Park about 3 km from the town of Mormanno. The property is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and fruit trees from which are produced oil, wine, liqueurs, tasty jams to taste during breakfast or together with typical sweets. It can accommodate a maximum of 10 people: it offers an apartment with two double rooms and a single (with the possibility of turning it into a double), as well as a triple room (also with the possibility of adding an extra bed); the structure is designed to accommodate disabled guests. The dining room is cozy and familiar to receive guests staying or small groups of people. It is the perfect place for those who want to spend their holidays surrounded by greenery and rich Calabrian flavors, in a warm and family atmosphere. The farm also offers an area equipped for the parking of 12 campers, with a well for the discharge of water, the water supply column and the power supply system specially installed; It is also equipped with several services such as picnic area, barbecue and comfortable spaces where to install tents for camping. The property has free WIFI connection for all guests. Medium and small animals are allowed, and soon a "dog parking" area will be available. Guests have the opportunity to do various activities during their free time: play bowls or practice archery, take walks at the Battendiero river, visit Mormanno, take part in guided tours of the Pollino National Park (here you can do also rafting or canyoning in Lake Lao), spend a day at Lake Pantano (relaxing or doing physical activity following the nearby vitae path), then visit the Caves of Romito or Laino Castello "Vecchio".
