The agriturismo
The agritourism Castanito is located in Vico Equense, precisely in the hamlet of S.Salvatore, a small village in the city.
It is said that the building is an ancient oil mill of the 700' used as an olive grove and for this reason the structure still houses an old oil mill to visit.
The accommodation
The accommodations, double, triple or family rooms, all with private bathroom, are equipped with courtesy set, hairdryer, television, mini bar, heating, mosquito nets.
Some overlook the garden and swimming pool, others have sea views.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is surrounded by olive groves, and is equipped with a butcher, room for homemade pasta, room cells for vegetables and fruit, cellar of the old farmer where they produce homemade wine. It offers its guests a kitchen for mothers, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a sun terrace with a bar and a view of the sea and the three islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, air games for children and ample space outside and the possibility to walk around Mount Faito and finally a restaurant with its own production of typical Sorrento products.
You can enjoy the dishes prepared by the restaurant using only ingredients grown or produced on site, and at the structure you will find various animals, including ducks, pigs, donkeys and chickens, horses, cows, fish, rabbits, goats, turtles and many others.
Located at the foot of Mount Faito 400 meters from sea level, is 10 minutes from the center of Vico Equense by car, 10 minutes by train from Sorrento and Amalfi coast or you can visit Capri, Ischia and Procida or even move to Pompeii, Vesuvius and the museums of Herculaneum.
