The agriturismo
The farm is composed of three cottages, one for the restaurant and two for the accommodation (Casa Antece, Casa Pietra) located a short distance in the 'organic olive grove. The estate overlooks the entire Valle del Calore, offering a picturesque view and an atmosphere of absolute tranquility. Walking among the olive trees and country trails around the farm or hiking in the territory of Alburni are among the most stimulating activities. Otherwise you can spend time in the pool, in full relaxation, which enjoys the 'exciting view of the valley. The gastronomic experience is entrusted to our kitchen in the preparation of local dishes or in organizing tasting events with local products, especially oil, wine and cheese.
The accommodation
The Rocca degli Ulivi farmhouse practice organic farming. and is specialized in extravirgin olive oil production with a remarkable vocation to rural tourism. It is located at S. Angelo a Fasanella, a small ancient village inside the Cilento park between the Alburni?s mountains and the Calore ?s valley ; it has a wonderful view and it is near to the very interesting naturalistic and historical locations.
Activities and surrounding
The Historical Centre of S. Angelo is particularly suggestive with its alleys and its portals. Just outside there is the Cave of St. Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Not to be missed is a visit to the springs of the Auso, a water scene with small waterfalls and historical remains. A little further on is a visit to Old Roscigno and the sources of the Sammaro river. Hiking in the mountains of Alburni thanks to the many hiking trails that lead to the top (The Panormo) or on the fascinating summit of the Son. Lighter routes are those of the Antece rock sculpture (another Unesco heritage site) or the Elce path that connects S.Angelo to Corleto. The Rocca degli Ulivi enjoys a strategic position to reach within an hour other places of great interest in the Cilento territory as the coastal strip from Acciaroli to Marina di Camerota, the excavations of Paestum and Velia, the Caves of Pertosa and Castelcivita, the Charterhouse of Padula, the Gulf of Policastro.
