Just 11 km from Cividale del Friuli and 18 km from Udine, in northeast Italy, an original exposed stone farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s, at 200 metres above sea level in the Eastern Friuli Hills.
The farm, family-run since 1989, is surrounded by vines and chestnut woods, and offers guest accommodation in a peaceful, other worldly setting, where guests can enjoy organic wines.
In front of the traditional stone farmhouse, a 40 square metre pergola of French Alberic Barbier rambling white rose shelters outdoor tables and chairs.
On the ground floor of the farmhouse you'll find the kitchen, the dining room, where you can dine by the fireplace, a pantry which stores jams, fruit in syrup and vegetables from the farm’s vegetable garden, and the wine cellar which houses the farm’s certified organic wines.
On the upper floors you’ll find the double rooms, all with bathrooms: theblue room also offers a cot; the green roomincludes an old fashioned double bed, tall and spacious, plus a single bed; thepink roomis ideal for the larger family, with an additional two singles and a cot; and theochre room also includes a set of bunk beds.
