The accommodation
The farm stretches over 30 hectares in a multiform area, ranging from woodland to arable land, pastures and olive groves. Inside there is an ancient water mill, then transformed into a farmhouse for farmers and today restructured for the reception of guests. The farm is therefore also an agritourism and offers to all interested visitors the opportunity to discover the rural world through contact with the countryside, animals and peasant life. The farm is cultivated under organic conditions and produces mainly olive oil and animal feed. The farmhouse developed on the vestiges of an ancient water mill, which once used to refer to the entire Cantalupo area. The present aspect is the result of subsequent interventions, which have expanded the initial structure and today the traces of the ancient mill and the barn are no longer visible. It rests on the breccia bed lodged by an ancient river. It consists of two floors, under which, excavated in the breach, there are caves, formerly used as wineries. The turret was the dove that housed the pigeons. The available rooms for the hospitality are two: - a single room, with two windows, with a comfortable and large bed in a square and a half (mattress in memory foam anallergic, orthopedic and removable), 3-door wardrobe, table and nightstand; - a double bedroom, with two windows, with an outboard bed and Japanese style (latex futon), two-door closet and dresser with drawers. Both rooms have cable internet access (data cable is available on request at no extra cost) and satellite TV socket (TV and decoder are available on request with a small daily charge). All the outdoor spaces adjacent to the farmhouse are at guests' disposal and therefore the small west-facing garden and the paved area in the surroundings of the east side oven. Guests can freely walk or go mountain biking along the 30 acres of the property.
