The accommodation
Villa located in the heart of Sabina, a stone's throw from Rome, between centuries-old olive trees.
The central body dates back to the 17th century when it was a post office of the Pontifical State and the last strategic settlement on the northeastern border. Transformed in the 19th century in Villa Padronale.
The villa, surrounded by a garden of about 2 hectares and an artificial lake, is located within a farm of a noble family that for centuries has been dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil.
Inside the villa there are 3 apartments:
Contessa Lilli is on the ground floor, about 300 sqm with living room, dining kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; Baronessa Nora is on the ground floor and first floor of about 500 sqm with 6 bedrooms 4 bathrooms double livingroom, study, 2 dining room kitchen; General Alfredo is on the first floor, featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room kitchen / dining and a terrace of 100 sqm.
Manor's Room: Double room with entrance / study and bathroom.
The apartments faithfully retain the original features and furnishings.
The villa is your best choice for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Italy, about 25 minutes from Rome and 3 km from the majestic Abbey of Farfa. Its landscape of gentle hills where agriculture is in harmony with the surrounding nature is scattered with Roman villas, medieval castles, churches and abbeys, and many testimonies of its historical, artistic, cultural and architectural past. From the Villa you can reach Rome, Tuscany, Umbria and many fascinating art cities in the center of Italy with a short drive by car or train. The "Farfa's Pools" are also located 5 Km away. Every Summer, 1 km from the enchanting and ancient village and the famous Abbey, from 1960, welcome you to the shade of a centuries-old park for a relaxing bath. The area is equipped for picnics with tables and barbecues at the customer's disposal, riding stables and hiking, biking and so on.
