The agriturismo
The Casale is a sixteenth century barn. After a careful restoration, it is now ready for use as a farm. There are 8 self-contained apartments which can accommodate everyone from two to six people (two apartments are specially equipped with facilities for disabled guests), and 17 double rooms : public areas, reading rooms, study, meetings and exhibitions, a garden with plenty of room for sports space and leisure activities. The whole atmosphere of an Italian farmhouse located only 20 km from the center of Rome and the Vatican City.
The accommodation
The casale is located in the ancient village of Testa di Lepre, 22 km from the centre of Rome, surrounded by nature set in the picturesque landscapes of the Roman countryside. A carefully restored old granary has now become an intimate shabby-chic style location ideal for receptions, business meetings and short relaxing breaks. The accommodation includes eleven independent apartments, two of which are equipped for the disabled, bar, swimming pool, relaxation corner, spacious lounges and a large garden that will be the ideal place to organize your outdoor events. The agricultural land produce fruits and vegetables. A section of the company is located in Colleferro where cereals, oleagionous and vegetables grown in a wide range area.
Activities and surrounding
The Casale is a great starting point for visiting the historic sites of Rome and the nature that surrounds it. You can choose to move by car or by train, the Maccarese / Fregene station is a few kilometers from Casale. An hourly train will take you only 15 minutes to the San Pietro station allowing you to reach the Saint Peter's Basilica on foot, or continuing to the Trastevere station, to browse its alleys, or even further to the Ostiense train station which houses Eataly Rome. The Last stop is the Termini Station, where you can visit the Baths of Diocletian right in front of the station square, and Via Nazionale until the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
