Via Casale di San Nicola, 425, 00100 Rome (Rome)
In a hillside position, surrounded by the scents of lavender and rosemary in the Roman countryside, the agriturismo is perfect for celebrating private events or for relaxing holidays surrounded by nature.
The farm produces and prepares high quality food which can be enjoyed in the restaurant.
The agriturismo also breeds horses (Italian Heavy Draft, Murghese and Haflinger), Chianina cattle, Girgentana goats, Suffolk sheep and Rottweilers and long haired Bernese Mountain Dogs.
The old farmhouse was renovated to create the reception rooms, some of which are decorated with cherubs, the kitchen, and the rooms and apartments for the agriturismo’s guests. All of the rooms are fully equipped with all the comforts you could need, some also come with open fireplaces and shell-shaped corner whirlpool tubs. The names of the rooms recall the skills of the old farm: Casa del Fattore (farmer), del Giardiniere (gardener), del Conte (earl), del Maniscalco (blacksmith), del Fantino (jockey), etc.
The countryside that surrounds the agriturismo spreads directly to the Capital, which is easily accessible and the main point of interest for tourists: from the Coliseum to the multitude of monuments, all conveying the ancient history of Rome.
Equally as interesting are the Castello degli Odescalchi on Lake Bracciano, the Trevignano Romano lakeside promenade, Anguillara Sabazia, an old fishing village, the Etruscan Necropolises of Cerveteri, Tarquinia and Vulci, the Etruscan city of Veii, in the province of Viterbo, and the Terme dei Papi spa centre.
Lovers of the sea can also visit the coast of Fregene, Ladispoli and Santa Marinella.
