In the beautiful frame of etrurian hills of Tarquinia, rich in historical and cultural heritage, close to the sea and surrounded by intact nature, the farm offers to his guests the perfect compromise between the past and the modern, the ideal place for those who are fond of nature, art and sports.
Founded in 1997, the farmhouse is the first "agri-touristic" structure of the Serafini family. During six years of rural transformation, it has developed to a farm-complex that consists of several buildings. The centre is the restaurant with a beautiful veranda, surrounded by green and trees, with a view over the sea. The good quality of farmhouse's cooking is due to the fresh foods self-produced like oil, eggs, honey, fruits, vegetables and meat.
The old cowshed was changed into 10 different apartments, each one of them have an independent entrance and central heating, a mezzanine floor and they all suggest a sober and elegant choice of interior design, particularly studied to the comfort of modern life with separate entrance, loft, separate heating and small veranda; some of them also with cooking angle.
A recent restructuring has given life to the project: nine new apartments have been created, different in size, including kitchen, dining-room, bedroom and bathroom, separate air conditioning / heating. Everything is simple, functional and well designed respecting nature.
500 meters away from Podere Giulio, the guests can also enjoy common places like verandas, relaxing room, firewood oven, washing-machine, fountain and the biological garden of the farm.
A small road of about 1 km, planted with trees, leads to a private little pine forest and to the beach. You can take a walk or go there by bicycle. Here time seems to be standing still! Nature is nearly untouched in its natural beauty - with an extraordinarily clean sea, sandy dunes and the Mediterranean vegetation, called macchia.

Tarquinia is admired internationally for its Etruscan Necropolis full of beautiful tomb-painting; it possesses too a National Etruscan Museum that is considered one of the most important in Italy and that keeps some Etruscan finds as sarcophagus, the winged horses and a collection of important vases that testify the evolution of etruscan and Greek vase-painting.
Tarquinia is in the Maremman area, a zone in which you can find the sandy dunes and the "tombolo", a whole of ciste, myrtle, heather and broom.
The Podere Giulio's customers begin their days with an excellent Maremman breakfast and they can spent every moment in contact with nature having walks, visiting our firm, fishing, going to the sea.
The 20 flats of our farm holiday firm are connected with a pinewood of about 2ha thanks to a private avenue with some beautiful trees which can be followed by bicycle, by car or on foot. Trough natural pathways, the pinewood introduces us into a free beach with a clean and quiet sea perfect for a unforgettable vacation.
