WELCOME TO MONTE PU'

If you are looking for a place to relax and love nature, you are in the right place.
Monte Pu' is located at 700m above the sea on the namesake versant, of the mountain of the sea, in the immediate hinterland of Sestri Levante. Here we organize brunches, snacks, even your picnic! The meadows will be at your disposal, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea. For those of you that want to stay for a bit more, you can to stay in our comfortable apartments and rooms. You will enjoy a fantastic view, very serene sleep lulled only by the silence of nature, surrounded by 200 hectares of lawns and woods. |
The accommodation
We are located at the foot of a natural oasis characterized by a remarkable geological, faunal and floristic richness.
The woods that surround us offer various walks where you can discover the scents and colours of the Mediterranean maquis, listening only to the sound of the wind and wild nature.
Monte Pu' is located in a crucial point where several paths meet, which will transport you among suggestive views and breathtaking glimpses.
Initially aBenedictine monastery, a refuge during the first and second wars, then a large farm and finally afarmhouse.
Monte Pu' consists of an ancient complex of buildings dating back to the twelfth century
.
The renovation has maintained the original conformity of the building, converting barns, stables and warehouses into the rooms that today make up our Agriturismo.
You will find the Hall, originally a large barn, where you can make yourself comfortable and taste our products.
Le Salette delle Erbe, where you will find our laboratory where we collect, dry and process aromatic and dyeing plants.
The Court, the heart of the farmhouse, where our kitchen overlooks.
In the rest of the structure you will find the rooms, 7 in total, all different and unique in their kind.
And finally the 3 apartments, where our guests will find their home and sleep really serene lulled only by the silence of nature.
We have deliberately decided not to install either TV or internet connection inside the accommodations, because we believe that in order to fully enjoy the experience at Monte Pu' they are superfluous.We have something better: open the window, breathe pure air and lose yourself with your eyes in the green of the woods or in the blue of the sea, listen to the song of the birds, watch an immensity of stars shining and illuminate yourself with the glow of the moon.
But don't worry, we have organized a small Wi-Fi area for those who need it.
Activities and surrounding
Our motto is "The beauty is the beauty of doing all, or nothing."
For those who only need to relax and rest, they can lull themselves on the hammocks, doze off on the deckchairs under the lime trees or sunbath on the sunbeds on the lawn.
Let yourself be lulled by the sound of the wind, the song of birds, breathing pure air.
For those who wish to freshen up, we have arranged an outdoor shower. A jet of cold water to clear your mind and tone your body!
While the woods, meadows, paths and views surround and offer our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and try their hand at outdoor activities.
Here you can go hiking, trekking and Nordic walkers, we also rent mountain bikes.
Four steps will be enough to be in the company only of Nature and its sounds.
We like to exchange knowledge of our territory and our traditions with our guests.
You can discover the vegetable garden, the aromatic herbs, the products of our land and our way of living agriculture.
You will experience Monte Pu’ in all its aspects, knowing its tastes and perfumes.
With our breakfasts, snacks and tastings you can also enjoy our products and local ones, appreciating their authenticity.
On our table you will find only local products, we respect the seasonality and availability of raw materials. We promote the product meter 0!
With our garden we produce seasonal vegetables and fruit, without the use of any pesticides and following the times that the seasons dictate.
The Mediterranean scrub and the luxuriance of Monte Pu’ also allow us to enjoy a vast variety of herbs from aromatic to healing ones.
You can buy directly from us vegetables, fruit, infusions, sweet and savory preserves, Giardiniera and other transformations, extra virgin olive oil and fresh eggs!
Furthermore, from this year we produce biscuits, sweet and savory cakes, fresh homemade pasta.
