Cascina Teresina farmhouse is located near Bellagio.
It offers much more than the organic wines of its own production and the genuine food offered by the kitchen.
The property is ideal for the unique experience of staying in the midst of vineyards with views of Lake Como and its mountains, a place where you can relax, or go hiking in the nearby mountains or on the lake.
The vineyards can be visited and there is the opportunity to taste the wines accompanied by quality food and local dishes carefully prepared by the farm's chefs.
The accommodation
The Cascina Teresina farmhouse is located in the midst of nature, mountains and vineyards under organic management, with views of Lake Como, and is specifically situated in the mountains at an altitude of 650 m (650 ft.).
The rooms, all on the first floor and with lake and mountain views, have their own private bathrooms and are equipped to offer the best comfort during your stay. Some rooms have separate entrances so guests can be offered total freedom.
The facility has apublic area consisting of a furnished garden with lake and mountain views, in fact a "balcony" over the valley and sun-kissed lake.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the living room and, weather permitting, also in the large veranda overlooking the garden, a covered space freely usable by guests at times of the day when meals are not served.
The availability of a service bathroom on the ground floor makes it particularly convenient not to have to go up to the room in case of need when one is in the garden or on the veranda.
Since the main activity is to produce wines from the property's grapes, the catering that is carried out focuses on dishes that in particular go well with wine tasting: dishes based on quality ingredients that are either homegrown or purchased from other farms.The style of cooking is homemade, with a profile that seeks to offer traditional dishes, to which culinary innovations are also applied without, however, distorting them.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse offers itself as a place to relax, and is located in a position from which to take nature walks in the mountains of the Larian Triangle that overlook Lake Como with multiple views, both on the Como and Lecco branch sides, and for lovers of challenging walks there are excellent trails for them as well.
For water sports enthusiasts a few minutes' drive away are lakeside facilities that offer sporting opportunities as well as boat rental services for those who wish to take boat trips. Still on the sporting side, there are also tworiding stables within a few minutes' drive for those who enjoy horseback riding and horseback riding.
For children's entertainment (and more!) there are two Jungle Ride Parks about half an hour's drive away, again here within the Larian Triangle.
For those who want to relax on the beach, Cascina Teresina is about half an hour from a deserving stretch of lake.
Being then about 45 minutes from Como and Lecco and about 55 minutes from Monza, these three destinations offer much from a scenic point of view but also cultural, historical and artistic.
Last but certainly not least is the center of the lake: its pearl Bellagio, and Varenna, Menaggio, Villa Carlotta and Villa Melzi, the park and Villa Balbianello, and much more reachable in about 30 minutes.
