The agriturismo
Agriturismo Borgo del Mincio is located in Volta Mantovana, in a rural and peaceful setting, inside in the Mincio park, in an isolated place but not far from the center, rich in history and culture thanks to the presence of Palazzo Gonzaga and its charming gardens.
The facility has fourteen bedrooms, two apartments, a large infinity pool surrounded by a vast green lawn and shady trees. The breakfast roomis very large and bright thanks to its glass windows. In addition, there is a meeting and event room.
The accommodation
Country chic style characterizes the entire facility and especially the rooms.
The fourteen rooms feature large spaces, wooden ceilings, private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.
Different types of rooms will meet all needs, from spacious double rooms to lofted family suites to accommodate large families or groups.
In the common areas you can find multiple books to read freely or objects that are part of the history of the farmhouse.
The meeting room has an impressive fireplace that dominates the entire room and creates an idyllic setting for holding meetings or events.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located 1km from the Mantova-Peschiera del Garda bicycle path (now the sun cycle path). You will have the possibility to rent bicycles in order to spend a day in the open air and visit the renowned resorts of Borghetto, Valeggio sul Mincio or Mantova.
In addition, a few kilometers away, you will find Solferino and San Martino della Battaglia, Verona, Lake Garda and its water parks
. Adjacent to the farm is a riding stables through which you can take evocative horseback rides along the Mincio River.
On request, the facility welcomes small dogs. Nearby, about 300 meters, is a multipurpose center for animals that can accommodate your four-legged friends.
The Morainic hills are rich in wine cellars. Our staff is available to recommend a pleasant tasting of local wines.
