The agriturismo
Company on a property of about 80 organic Mantuan, with production of cereals, such as corn and wheat, fruit and vegetables. Located in the Mincio Park, a few steps from Bosco Fontana and the historic center of Mantua. It offers typical Mantuan cuisine accompanied by locally produced wines.
The agritourism was an old stable, now restored, in which a restaurant has been converted and the rooms are located on the old barn. Comfortable and welcoming environments with good value for money.
The accommodation
The structure consists of five rooms obtained from the former barn where hay was once piled up for the winter, and a restaurant, where until a few years ago there were about 80 dairy cows. There is also a large porch where children can play even on rainy days or where it is nice to sit and read a good book in peace.
Considering the countryside that surrounds it, the agriturismo provides bicycles to reach the surrounding places, such as Mantua center, the lakes with its beautiful nature full of ducks, swans and other animals, or the forest Forest of the Fountain, the last remaining forest of the plain.
Activities and surrounding
In the surroundings, besides the museums and the historical centre of Mantua, you can visit the sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, an important prayer centre dedicated to the Madonna, the Bosco della Fontana forest, the gardens of Valeggio Parco Sigurtà, the typical villages of Castellaro Lagusello or Borghetto and the morainic hills with the fortresses of Solferino and San Martino, not to mention the medieval town of Sabbioneta.
