The agriturismo
Nestled in nature, an accommodation complex which has been awarded 5 sunflowers (a classification like hotel stars), with a swimming pool and solarium, games room, lounges and Wi-Fi, stay in comfortable rooms with bathrooms, and enjoy delicious breakfasts. The estate, which spreads along a river for around 200 hectares, also boasts its own stables and paddocks, where horses, donkeys and oxen roam freely.
Ideally located in a peaceful riverside setting, the agriturismo is just 25 km south of Milan, 16 km from Lodi and Pavia, 40 km from Piacenza and a 30 minute drive from Linate.
The accommodation
The residential complex, built in the late 1960s, includes the former main villa and a romantic tree house. All guest rooms are equipped with the home comforts you need, from latest generation TVs to air conditioning, walk-in closets, safes, free Wi-Fi, mini bars, kettles, mosquito nets and desks, private bathrooms with showers, towels, hairdryers and courtesy products.
Available from June 2018, there are also 4 apartments with kitchenettes, microwaves, safes, private bathrooms and washing machines.
You'll find private parking, two communal lounges, a reading room with a selection of books and a TV, a large breakfast room, a wellness area with sauna and Turkish bath with whirlpool, and a swimming pool with solarium. All rooms enjoy stunning views of the surrounding nature. The accommodation structure is also climate controlled (summer and winter) with radiant ceiling distribution to ensure a homogeneous temperature throughout, for optimum psychological and physical wellbeing.
The historic stables, which have housed prestigious horses, in English cottage or Norman farmhouse style, are still well preserved today.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can enjoy tours, excursions by bicycle (available on site), horseback riding around the 840 m loop and along 1000 m of straight sand floor trails, where in the past famous trotting horses were trained.
As well as the cities of Lodi, Milan and Pavia, the agriturismo enjoys easy access to Lodi Vecchio, Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, San Colombano al Lambro, the Certosa di Pavia and Piacenza. The town of Villanterio is 1 km away, also accessible by bike along the estate's private roads.
