The agriturismo
The agricamping is located on our farm, which is distinguished by the protection of biodiversity: over 300 varieties of fruits, vegetables, flowers and wild plants, then cattle of ancient breed V.O.T. (varzese tortonese ottonese), Piedmontese blond and millefiori hens, black Lomellina pigs, a paint mare, Saarloos wolfhound dogs, Bengal cats. Thanks to the stone mill and dairy, it is possible to buy many products (or enjoy them in the farm's agritourism): dairy products, baked goods from traditional stone-milled flours (San Pastore, Senatore Cappelli, ottofile corn), wine, meats, cold cuts, eggs, fruits and vegetables, jams and preserves,...We are also an educational farm with Planetarium to discover together the wonders of the sky and the Earth!
The accommodation
The farm is part of the countryside of the Alessandria plain and is one of the most innovative companies in Italy, characterized by the self-production of almost all the foods that are on the table of the farm, the use of renewable resources with closed-loop chains of zero waste and the vocation of education and hospitality. The campground can accommodate tents or campers for a maximum of 12 guests: 2 fixed pitches for campers / caravans are equipped with electricity and water (without drains for sewage). For all there are 3 showers and 3 bathrooms, one of which is for disabled people. The 2 pitches have a total of 3 Kwatts available. The price of a pitch is 15 euros per night, regardless of the number of guests. It is also possible to have lunch or dinner in our farm, buy the products of the farm and participate in educational activities with the agricultural and astronomical Planetarium (on reservation and subject to availability).
Activities and surrounding
Throughout the year we organize cultural events, educational and popular, to involve guests in the life of the country and in various production activities. For groups we organize naturalistic and historical-artistic excursions in the nearby villages and hills: Tortona and its entourage, Val Curone, Val Grue, Oltrepò Pavese,.... The campground is located in Castelnuovo Scrivia, one of the most convenient gates to access the hills of Oltrepò Pavese and Tortona: 20 min. from the tollgate of Milan and less than an hour from Genoa, Turin and Piacenza, this village has beautiful monuments of sacred and civil art, as many towns in the area (especially medieval and Romanesque-Gothic style).
