The agriturismo
La Margherita is a farmhouse nestled in the green hills of Alta Langa where the farm is also located.
Goats and sheep are raised on the farm in a transhumant manner and cheese and cured meats are produced.
The farm also has three working horses .
The accommodation
The facility consists of three double rooms with private bathrooms, a large communal garden where guests can relax in the shade of fruit trees, and a room with an open kitchen where breakfast and dinner is prepared for guests.
The rooms consist of a double bed, a closet with hangers and a private bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. A hair dryer is provided in all rooms.
At the property it is possible to have a rich breakfast of homemade products such as cakes, homemade bread with sourdough, cheeses, meats, jams, sheep yogurt.
It is also possible to dine, again with homemade and typical local products.
Activities and surrounding
Agriturismo La Margherita is strategically located, about 30 minutes from Alba and less than an hour from the beautiful Ligurian Sea .
It is exactly halfway along the 5 Torri Trail, which you can walk on your own or with a guide and assisted by the farm's work horses that will carry your luggage.
The area is famous for growing grapes and hazelnuts. In fact, it is possible to have tastings at selected wineries or companies that grow and process hazelnuts into tasty sweets and see the processes and workings up close and personal.
It is possible to rent e-bikes (by reservation directly at the farmhouse) and choose from the countless trails that run through the beautiful hills.
Nearby there are outdoor pools where you can spend a relaxing day.
