Agriturismo situated on the slopes of Mount Bracco, near Monviso, with farm dedicated to the cultivation of fruit trees and vegetables.
The accommodation
The agriturismo, recently renovated, offers accommodation in three apartments with different characteristics.
Il Forno was once the heart of the farmhouse, built in the early 20th century: kitchen/living area, large double bedroom with mezzanine with twin beds and bathroom with shower. The room décor has kept the original colours and shapes with attention paid to comfort. Very bright, guests can enjoy the surrounding panorama from the windows and spacious balcony.
La Corte directly overlooks the farmhouse courtyard and occupies the most recent part of the whole property: kitchen with spacious living area, connected to the covered terrace equipped for dining, a bedroom with harmonious colours with exposed beams and mezzanine. Bathroom with large shower.
Il Fienile, on three levels, occupies the space once devoted to the hay and wood store. The rooms, connected by an internal staircase, are bright and functional: on the ground floor is the living area with kitchen and a bathroom with dressing room; on the first floor there is a living room with sofa bed; on the second floor is the mezzanine with double bed. Stone walls and exposed beams give the apartment a mountain-style atmosphere, rustic but elegant.
Activities and surrounding
The surrounding areas are full of cities of art and tourist destinations like Saluzzo and Pinerolo, both 20 km away.
The Po Valley and Cuneo valleys allow visitors to enjoy sporting and cultural activities: from visiting the Abbey of Staffarda (10 km away) or the monks of Prad Mil through to Monviso, which, with its unmistakable peak, offers trails for all levels (in both winter, with snowshoes, and summer). Ski resorts in Limone Piemonte, Sestriere and Crissolo at the foot of Monviso.
Restaurants and shops selling traditional produce are within easy reach.
