Cascina Bricchetto Langhe is in a strategic position: in the center of the Langhe allows in a few kilometers to reach all the best known places and the most romantic ones, and even the wildest ones (there are indeed), enjoying a spectacular view!
In the evening the sunset sets Monviso ablaze and floods the Alps with bright colors, you can "soak" in the situation outside sitting comfortably in an armchair or eating... for example, the product of the barbecue, it is equally possible from inside the houses thanks to the large and numerous windows. The houses, which are different from each other both structurally and in terms of furnishings, offer a luxurious stay and with the amenities offered have nothing to envy from luxury hotels. The accommodation
The structure built of Langa stone, is perhaps the oldest in the village, is situated at the apex of a hill, altitude 550 m ,about 10 km from Alba "capital of the Langhe" and 3 km from Barbaresco. The view is marvelous, an undulating series from hills to the Maritime Alps, on the front of the house dominates Monviso and on the back the Rosa group. One can alternate between quiet days on the well-equipped lawns and visits to the nearby towns of Bra - Asti - Cherasco, or to the many visitable castles in the surrounding area such as: Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Govone, Magliano Alfieri, as well as to the various museums and colorful markets.
The houses arise from recent renovation, typical structures such as exposed brick "vaults" were saved and natural and typical materials were used. The houses are in the central body of the farmhouse, completely autonomous and are developed on two floors.
Cà dra Topia (mq 150) consists of: large living room with kitchenette, 3 double bedrooms (one on the second floor and two upstairs), 3 bathrooms, a long balcony on the upper floor. The rooms can be set up with either 3 double beds (King size) or 4 single beds and one double bed (King size) possibility of 2 additional single beds for a fee and a crib with sides and high chair.
Cà der Forn (mq 100 ) consists of: large living room on two levels, hallway and balcony on the second floor, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The rooms can be set up with either 2 double beds (King size) or 4 single beds possibility of an additional single bed for a fee and a crib with sides and high chair.
Quality certification issued by Ospitalità Italiana. Our breakfast is rich, offering local products made according to ancient recipes, also appreciated by Slow Food, which included us in the guide "Locande d'Italia".
At guests' disposal: internet access inside and outside the houses, garage, covered terraces furnished with wooden furniture, barbecue, play area for children, equipped gardens and by prior arrangement fruits and vegetables of our own production. The cost does not include: - Security deposit (30% of the expense) to be paid in cash on arrival, will be returned on departure minus any damages and purchases (food, wine...), - Gas & Heating are paid at the consumption detected by specific meter at the purchase price currently € 6 x cubic meter, the price shown x stay is equivalent to 25 cubic meters in case of higher consumption you will pay on departure the difference, in case of lower consumption the difference will be returned in cash on departure.
Activities and surrounding
Things to see in the surroundings Alba "Langhe Capital" is nearby, the historic center is characterized by the medieval towers and porticoes, the "Via Maestra" has a successful architectural amalgam and many typical shops (it is the "sting" street). Many events are organized during the year, some of which are exclusively cultural such as AlbaFilmFestival and AlbaMusica, others combining the delights of the area with folklore-cultural-traditional aspects. Residences of Savoy: the furthest Venaria Castle at about 80 km. The closest ones are the castles of Magliano Alfieri and Govone, passing through Barolo - Verduno - Santa Vittoria? Serralunga- Fontanafredda. Wineries The closest to 3 km and the furthest to 25. I always say to our guests: "if you want to understand a little about this territory and its people you have to visit some cellar", speaking with the producers and tasting their products (we are talking about Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Muscat d'Asti, Arneis, Freisa ...) you will do something special to bring with you ... Of course you need to make an appointment. Asti-Bra-Cherasco Between 25 and 35 km these small ancient cities all have an architecturally diverse but equally interesting historic center, ancient churches, colorful markets, gastronomic excellence ... and more to discover. Turin Historical center: Royal Palace and Gardens, Piazza San Carlo, Via Po, Via Roma, palaces and beautiful streets, ancient "Caffè", I remember it was the first capital of Italy (1861). Museums: Egyptian (2nd in the land and 1st in Cairo), Royal Palace with original furnishings, Armeria of the Royal Palace, ancient and modern art, Cinema placed in the wonder that is the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Carignano home of the first Parliament ... Shopping: from chocolate ... to jewels.
