The agriturismo

The holiday farmhouse “Cascina Veja” is a family-owned property. We are truly and sunny people who work every day in order to do the best for our guests and our farm.

The accommodation

Going along the Pesio Valley from the chief town to the Charterhouse, before arriving in Vigna you can’t miss the housing “Cascina Veja”. It’s an old farmhouse surrounded by vegetation, encircled by ancient chestnut wood and meadows, where our sheep and goats daily graze.

In the fields around there are greenhouses with strawberries and others soft fruits, vegetables such as tomatoes, courgettes, peppers and others that you will eat trying our typical “Piedmont cuisine”. You can spend relaxing moments in one of our comfortable bedrooms, all with bathrooms en suite, agreeably heated in winter and cool in summer.

We have double bedrooms and rooms suitable for families with children, too. In addition we have one bedroom accessible for disabled or for a person who has problems to climb the stairs. For those who travel with four-legged friends we offer the possibility to “accommodate” him on the terrace covered by the spacious arcade.

The farmhouse holiday Cascina Veja is located just next the town Chiusa di Pesio and just before Vigna, at the beginning of a wonderful valley both in winter and in summer.
You have the possibility to reach an uncontaminated environment that must take credits to the farmers who work for the safeguard of our territory.

Coloured by flowers and rich of water in the spring; fresh and green in summer; outlined with the pastels in fall and magic in winter when covered by a blanket of snow: that’s the Pesio Valley.

It is surrounded by a natural park, in which the Marguareis peak is the king in the “tail” of Marittime Alps: it is a really passion for excursionists and climbers, in winter like in summer. In the park you can admire flowers, plants and wild animals: this natural environment will help you forget stress and smog of daily life.
