The agriturismo

The Conca e Janas farmhouse rises between the hilly area of Dorgali and Orosei, in the heart of the Gulf of Orosei .

The property is an integral part of an 80-hectarefarm, where the love and sacrifices for sheep farming have been handed down from generation to generation for more than 100 years.

A short distance from beautiful beaches, it offers breathtaking views of the Supramonte mountain ranges of Dorgali, Oliena, Orgosolo and Urzulei.

Conca e Janas is the perfect place to experience a stay full of unexpected stories and traditional flavors. The only audible noises are those of nature and animals. This, makes the agritourism a true oasis of peace, ideal for those who want to escape from the chaos of the cities and daily stress.

The accommodation

The agritourism is divided into two different parts: the first is for livestock husbandry and processing of farm products; the second is reserved forhospitality.

The facility has 12 rooms with private bathrooms, all very simple and cozy, where guests can feel at home. The rooms are equipped with central heating, air conditioning and shared outdoor refrigerator. They are all located in the vicinity of the dining room.

The dining room, with a sitting area, opens onto a large outdoor area with ample parking for cars and coaches. It also has two large verandas where breakfast and dinner-bookable in the morning for the evening-with home-grown organic products are served.

The farmhouse offers guests tasty typical Sardinian dishes with organic products from the farm, including:

- Pork, sheep, lamb, kid and beef

- Fresh pasta dishes: fresh cheese ravioli, ricotta ravioli, culurgiones and malloreddus

- Vegetables from the garden

- Cold cuts and cheeses from the farm

Vegetarian, vegan and intolerant menu on request

Activities and surrounding

Conca e Janas rises between the hilly area of Dorgali and Orosei, in the heart of the Gulf of Orosei.

Inside the farm there is a pre-nuragic necropolis formed by as many as 5 "Domus de Janas" that you can visit with a short walk in the nature.

The farm is a few kilometers from the most famous attractions of Dorgali such as the Ispinigoli Cave, the S'Abba Frisca Museum Park and the Dolmen of Motorra.

From the property you can easily reach beautiful beaches: 10 to 15 minutes' drive to the beaches of Orosei, Cala Cartoe and Osala; 20 minutes' drive to Cala Gonone and theAquarium; 30 minutes' drive to the junction for Gola di Gorroppu and Tiscali.
