The agriturismo
On a hill about 30m high, stands the farm Pappacasu, immersed in the green of the Mediterranean and with a view on the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Orosei and the limestone Mount Tuttavista.
The farmhouse is the ideal place for nature lovers and for guests who want a quiet stay, away from the noise and the rhythms of everyday life where the blue sky and the blue sea are the background to the days.
The apartments, all newly built, are arranged in two small villas surrounded by large gardens and offer a magnificent view of the sea.
The accommodation
All the apartments, furnished with taste and attention to detail, are equipped with every comfort and recall the colours of the sun and the earth and those of the sky and the sea:
"Rosone" and "Pavoncelle" have a traditional Sardinian architecture and style and "Alba" and "Tramonto" have a more minimal and modern style.
"Rosone" and "Tramonto" are ideal for couples, both have a double room with additional bed, TV, air conditioning and shared outdoor washing machine. "Tramonto" also has a dishwasher.
"Pavoncelle" can accommodate up to 4 people (double bedroom with bunk bed), is equipped with TV, air conditioning, washing machine shared with "Rosone" and barbecue for outdoor summer barbecues.
"Alba" is the ideal solution for families (double bedroom with additional bed and/or sofa bed). It is equipped with TV, air conditioning, dishwasher and external washing machine shared with "Tramonto".
From the large verandas overlooking the sea of "Alba", "Pavoncelle" and "Rosone" guests can admire the first rays of the rising sun and the golden reflections of the moonlight.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is located a stone's throw from the sea, just ten minutes' drive from the town centre and the main beaches, including "Osala", where there is a bathing establishment, a kiosk (Playa Mare) and the family restaurant (Playa Cafè).
Fruit trees, aromatic plants and vegetable crops surround the avenues of the land where it is possible to enjoy the light sea breeze during walks in the hot summer season.
Olive production, where the Bosana cultivar predominates, is the heart of the farm. The extra virgin olive oil is its product of excellence, obtained by pressing using cold mechanical procedures that guarantee its authenticity.
Here are some activities that we suggest you do to enrich your stay:
- Guided walk or independent walk through the streets of the historic center of Orosei
- Visit to the Nuraghe of Osala overlooking the sea
- Guided or independent excursion along the paths of Monte Tuttavista from the natural monument of "sa preta istampata" to the Cristo Bronzeo
- Excursion by rubber dinghy in the Gulf of Orosei to discover the most suggestive bays
- Guided excursion with muscular or electric bike
- Climbing on the equipped walls of Monte Tuttavista
- Guided visit to the Literary Park "Grazia Deledda" in Galtelli
- Visit to the nuragic complex of Serra Orrios and the tomb of the giants of S'ena 'e Thomes
