The agriturismo

One of the first agritourisms in Sardinia, operating for more than 35 years, Sa Pigalva offers typical local cuisine with 0-km products mostly from its own farm , which is just a few meters from the agriturismo visible from it.

The property has 12 rooms, including single, double and triple rooms, a large panoramic swimming pool and a large room for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The agriturismo is located in the center of northern Sardinia, half an hour from Olbia and 50 minutes from Alghero. Just 2 km away is the small town of Tula and 1 km to Lake Coghinas.

The accommodation

The agriturismo is run by the Marchesi family and is strictly family-run. From the farm connected to it, comes the raw material for the production of products, km 0, offered to guests, from breakfast to dinner.

The farm has 12 rooms including single, double and triple rooms equipped with every comfort: all with private bathroom, air conditioner, free WI-FI, towels and private entrance. Most are wooden, some face directly into the pool and others enjoy views into the surrounding green pasture and hills .

The property has a large panoramic swimming pool, which can be used from May to October.

The large main room overlooks the pool directly, and at the entrance to it is a veranda where you can relax and enjoy breakfast. Main meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner are served inside. Various kinds of ceremonies are also organized: baptisms, communions, confirmations, weddings and birthdays.

The cuisine offered is typical Sardinian, but above all local: cured meats, cheeses, fresh pasta, pickles and pickles in oil and vinegar, jams, cakes, cookies and sweets of various kinds are produced, always respecting tradition.

Shuttle service is offered to and from the airports of Sardinia (Olbia, Alghero and Cagliari).

Activities and surrounding

The agritourism is located in Tula (SS) in Lake Coghinas, an important lake in Europe for bass fishing. The agriturismo collaborates with guides and boat rentals for this sport fishing. It has parking lots with electrical outlets for charging the boats of fans of this sport and boat towing service from the farmhouse to the lake.

On the farm is a Nuraghe (Sa Pigalva) that features a carved stone depicting the typical Sardinian mask and a Nuragic fountain, where water still flows year-round. A few kilometers away we find the site of Sa Mandra Manna, a megalithic wall with Nuragic carvings.

Tula each year hosts a stage of the World Rally Wrc and a concert of the international Time In Jazz festival.

The property is located in the center of northern Sardinia, so in less than 1 hour's drive you can reach famous tourist resorts such as Olbia (40 minutes), Alghero (50 minutes), Sassari (30 minutes).
