The accommodation
Located in a position where the gaze embraces the Gulf of Gonnesa until you reach the horizon, the structure is of recent construction and is very close to the sea, the white beach of Gonnesa, more than three kilometers long is a few hundred meters. Nearby is the fishing village of Portopaglia where once the tonnara was in full swing. The farm is located along the road that leads to Portoscuso and in a strategic position for visiting the sites of the Historical and Environmental Geomining Park of Sardinia like Porto Flavia and Grotta Santa Barbara which are just a few minutes away by car; 10 minutes from the embarkation for the Island of San Pietro; 20 minutes from the island of Sant'Antioco, 9 km from Iglesias and 13 km from Carbonia, about 40 minutes from the beach of Porto Pino (southbound) with its beautiful sand dunes and always 40 minutes from Piscinas (direction north), where there are the highest sand dunes in Europe. L'Orizzonte farmhouse offers its guests ten rooms with private bathroom, located in two adjacent buildings, different for different sizes and types. Wood and wrought iron characterize the rooms, furnished with an eye to the Sardinian tradition. The rooms are on the first floor of the building that contains them, accessible via an internal staircase. The types are: single, double and double and in each of these can be included additional beds. Each of the guest rooms at the Orizzonte is equipped with an en suite bathroom, complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, television and a fridge as well as daily cleaning. Independent and independent in all, for their stay, guests will enjoy breakfast always included in the offer.
