The agriturismo

The Medau Becciu farmhouse is nestled in the Sulcis countryside a few kilometers from the sea. It takes its name from the locality where it resides, very close to the medieval village of "Vecchia Tratalias". It is made out of an old farm residence renovated in 2005.

Guests can enjoy the swimming pool adjacent to the facility.

The farmhouse enjoys a large dining room where weddings, baptisms, confirmations etc. are organized.

The accommodation

The farmhouse has six spacious and comfortable rooms and two mini-apartments.

Each room is equipped with bathroom, TV, air conditioning, bed/bath linen.

The farmhouse enjoys a large dining room where weddings, baptisms, confirmations etc. are organized.
The menu based on typical Sardinian cuisine is full of healthy and wholesome foods. The farm Medau Becciu throughout the year grows and produces vegetables and vegetables (artichokes, potatoes, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, etc.), which through industrious hands, are transformed into appetizing dishes.
Pigs and sheep are also raised.

The menu consists of:
- 8 appetizers: olives, artichokes in oil, croutons with olive pate, peppers and eggplant in oil, cheese, cordula with peas, fricassee, ricotta cheese bomboloni, fried artichokes and fried pig's feet, vegetable omelet, etc.
- 2 first
courses : gnocchetti alla campidanese, fregola with sauce, lasagna with artichokes, maccaronesi de busa with vegetables, cheese
ravioli- 2 main
courses : lamb with peas or with olives and thistles, sheep with sauce, porchettone, roast suckling pig with vegetable side

Dessert: fried raviolini or typical Sardinian sweets-

Drinks are extras (coke, fanta, beer).

Had a large apartment, but were only two people, was therefore more expensive. There was breakfast included, but had to pay extra, was ok nothing special, just Italian, without fresh bread and fruit.

Please to meet you, my name is Claudia and I am 41 years old.
I have been managing Medau Becciu since 2004 along with my partner.
As well as we cook for the guests, we welcome the guests, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to meet new and interesting people all the time which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests' favourite thing about Medau Becciu is the chance to stay in a natural setting.
