The agriturismo

Surrounded by the green countryside around Etna, in the valleys of the hills between Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, the agriturismo is ideal for those who love nature and relaxation, with the chance to explore northeast Sicily. You will have a unique view of the volcano Etna the greatest in Europe. 

The accommodation

The farm offers two charming, independent one-room apartments and one two-room apartment with adjoining covered patio area, wood fire oven and barbecue. All the apartments, fitted with fully-equipped kitchenette, domestic appliances and climate control, are surrounded by large green areas, with two characteristic terraces offering a view of Mt Etna, the sea and the hills, a terrace for sunbathing and a car park.

An old palm grove is home to a small anthropological farming museum where guests can learn about grape pressing methods and winemaking processes.

Activities and surrounding

On the farm, cookery fans can learn to make typical local dishes, go off on food and wine tours and attend village festivals while sporty types can find riding stables in the vicinity, bicycle, mountain bike and quad hire, as well as cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding lessons in winter.

The local area offers enchanting outings such as guided tours of Mt Etna where enjoy the volcan craters, last lava eruptions, from the Alcantara valley to Calatabiano castle, or even to the splendid seaside at Taormina, the Naxos Gardens, Castelmola, Alcantara valley, Nebrodi Natural Park, Castiglione di Sicilia, Randazzo, Acitrezza, Catania and Siracusa.
