The Farmhouse "Don Cesarino" offers the opportunity to stay in Old Farmhouses completely renovated, equipped with kitchen and all modern comforts, located in the various farms of the company between green citrus and majestic and centuries-old olive trees.
Our type of hospitality is inspired by the "nature-house" formula: small houses immersed in nature, all with their own outdoor spaces for exclusive use, far from the masses and chaos of the city or worse, the typical accommodation facilities focused almost exclusively on catering, mostly open to external users (with restaurant room with hundreds of seats, perhaps under the 4 rooms available).
The accommodation
The Farmhouse "Don Cesarino" offers the opportunity to stay in Old Farmhouses completely renovated, equipped with all modern comforts, located on the various farms of the company between green citrus and majestic and centuries-old olive trees. The hilly location, in addition to enjoying a truly ideal climate for restful and relaxing stays, allows you to make holidays with the formula "Mare-Monti", that is, with morning trips to the free beaches or equipped with Capo d'Orlando and San Gregorio or S. Agata di Militello, in a beautiful blue sea, and then spend the afternoons and evenings in the cool hills of the Nebrodi mountains among hazelnut groves, orchards, olive groves and forests.
Activities and surrounding
The hilly location, in addition to enjoying a truly ideal climate for restful and relaxing stays, allows you to make holidays with the formula "Mare-Monti", that is, with morning trips to the free beaches or equipped with Capo d'Orlando and San Gregorio or S. Agata di Militello, in a beautiful blue sea, and then spend the afternoons and evenings in the cool hills of the Nebrodi mountains among hazelnut groves, orchards, olive groves and forests.
The houses, therefore, in addition to allowing a relaxing stay, with enchanting landscapes and views over the valley of the Fitalia, allow those who wish to enter, along different paths and ancient roads or mule tracks in the surrounding woods for the collection of mushrooms, chestnuts or other wild fruits, such as asparagus, chicory, blackberries or aromatic essences (oregano, fennel, nepithella, bay leaves, etc.).), finding refreshment in the ancient municipal drinking troughs, or decide to visit the ancient villages of the Hinterland to discover the history and their artistic and monumental beauty (the "vanedde", the Centre of Homeland History, the ancient foundry of the bells, and the churches of Tortorici, the churches and museums of St. Mark of Alunzio, Naso with its ancient noble palaces, Galati Mamertino, S. Salvatore di Fitalia, Sinagra, Ficarra, Ucria, Floresta, etc.).
About 2 km from us is the ancient Castania di Valdemone whose seventeenth-century remains are still visible in the so-called "Old Center", where you can walk along the ancient streets to discover the beauty that characterized it.
Obviously the hilly position, equidistant from the sea of Capo d'Orlando and the mountains of the Nebrodi, allows our guests to know as much the beauties of the coast of Orland (along the sea of Capo d'Orlando, beach of S.Gregorio) as to explore and to admire those landscaped and naturalistic of the Park of the Nebrodi. (Rocche del Crasto, Cascate del Catafurco, Lago Pisciotto, Lago Trearie, Lago Biviere, Lago Maulazzo, etc etc).
