If it wasn't for the first class view and quality of food at the restaurant I wouldn't recommend this Agriturismo. We took our young children their for a short stay and for a distraction from the big cities in Italy. We were greeted with little interest and the woman in Reception even made our driver escort us to our room. Isn't this their job? We had no instructions of what and where the facilities were and only given the wifi code because the kids asked for it. We were not told the rooms were not serviced daily and in the middle of the night we ran out of toilet paper. Reception was closed. I cannot fault the quality of the food but be warned, if you eat what that provide or ask for a smaller light meal you will be charged the same price.
Overall an average experience. There is so much to do as we intended to bike ride or take a cooking class but lost interest as the staff were not interested in us.
This year we spent our summer holidays in the Agriturismo Santa Margherita. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly welcomed. The next morning we were surprised with a fantastic view. The food was always regional and very tasty. Especially recommended is the Sicilian evening. You just have to go along with it. Beside the delicacies there is also finest musical entertainment. In the north of Sicily one discovers really great spots. We felt very comfortable. A special greeting goes to Claudia...she always had an open ear for our 1000 questions ??. Giuseppe is very charming and has everything under control. And Andrea is the funniest lifeguard I know... our boys had a lot of fun with him. We will recommend you 100%. Best regards from Germany...Janett and Thomas

We spent 10 days in Santa Margherita with half board. Perfect place for trips, wonderful view to sea and Lipari Islands. Delicious and rich breakfast and dinner of four courses with wine, home made arancielo. Perfect fresh pressed orange juice (fresh oranges from own plantation ,as well as other fruits and vegetables). Very friendly and helpful staff.
