The agriturismo
The farmhouse is immersed in unspoiled nature, inspiring peace, meditation and creativity. The structure obtained from stables and sheepfolds renovated in an estate of 120 hectares of pastures and forests of oak trees, 780 meters high, in the extraordinary setting of the Natural Park of Madonie, in Sicily.
The accommodation
The agriturismo has ten bedrooms, a dining room, a meeting area, a room for workshops, a panoramic swimming pool with views of the sea in the distance and of the mountains, and immense open spaces.
The project is to give life to aunique initiative in Italy: a literary and artistic agritourism. Each room is already a small library and numerous books, also for children and teens, are available in the common areas. Each room will be dedicated to a different author and a poetic forest is being created, the scene of literary events, in which each secular tree is named after a different poet.

excursions in the estate, immersed in absolute peace and silence; contact with animals (donkeys, horses, cows, goats, cats dogs); pleasant hours in the pool, surrounded by meadows and mountains, enchanting and romantic at sunset; creative writing workshops , autobiography, poetry; reading; outdoor reading and other literary and artistic events; creative activities for children; art therapy and psychotherapy paths; local cooking classes; collection and knowledge of forest products (herbs, mushrooms, fruits).
We are located 1 km from the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna, a historic place of worship and pilgrimage, with the adjoining convent of the Capuchin friars and the fine museum "Fra Gianmaria da Tusa". Nearby, along roads with picturesque views, you can visit the beautiful medieval towns of Gratteri, Castelbuono, Petralia (with its Adventure Park),Gangi (most beautiful village in Italy 2016) and Isnello, with the International Center for Astronomical Sciences Gal Hassin, where you can visit the important Planetarium. At about 15 km, the beautiful sea of Cefalù, proclaimed UNESCO site for its Arab-Norman architecture.
