The agriturismo
The Galefona Fief is located within the Madonie Natural Park.
The old and large stone farmhouse, built between the '40s and '50s, is surrounded by the land of the homonymous farm, covering 125 hectares and organically grown, within a wide valley between Monte Puraccia, Pizzo Sant'Angelo, Monte Grotta Grande.
The accommodation
All rooms, spacious and furnished in a modern style with views over the hills of the Madonie, have spacious private bathrooms with large showers.
All rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV, tea and coffee maker and other facilities.
Activities and surrounding
Inside the farm you can relax in the adjoining SPA, Wellness Center, sauna, large Jacuzzi, the beauty center also offers several packages, including dedicated, physiotherapy and massage services.
In the large and comfortable bar, open all day, which overlooks the garden and the outdoor relaxation areas, is served a buffet breakfast with food and drink both typical and continental, as well as the opportunity to taste different local specialties.
The Agriturismo also offers a transfer service, by reservation, to and from the airports of Palermo and Catania, and to the train stations of Palermo, Catania, Messina and Cefalù.
In the afternoon you can enjoy a delicious tea with an assortment of pastries, in the evening a tasty aperitif.
A short walk of just 5 minutes, you can reach the pristine and green Piano delle Fate, an ideal destination for a picnic in the open air.
In a strategic position, just 9 km from Cefalù (10 minutes by car), Feudo Galefona is very close to the most beautiful beaches in the area, the same Cefalù, Pollina, Mazzaforno and Sant'Ambrogio.
Only 10 km from the farm is the famous town of Castelbuono, famous for its music festivals and food and wine events.
At 3 km distance, there is the Astronomical Park of Madonie "Gal Hassin" and the famous tourist resorts of Gratteri and Isnello.
In just 3 minutes by car, you can visit the Sanctuary of Mary Most Holy of Gibilmanna, a famous place of worship, with the adjoining Capuchin convent and museum.
During the winter season, it is possible to go to the Piano Battaglia ski area, 25 minutes by car.

We had a short but very pleasant stay at this Agriturismo. The location is great and very quiet with lovely views. We also had dinner on site in the evening: great value for money. Just a small downside, we had no information about the agricultural activity of the place.
