The agriturismo
Agriturismo Torre Syclis was born from the renovation of a ruined rural hamlet from the early 1900s and finished renovation in 2013.
The facility is located in Scicli on the Imbastita hill. The sea is only 5-6 km away and from here you can enjoy breathtaking views.
The accommodation
The property consists of sandstone farmhouse (tower type) in three levels. It is surrounded by 2-hectare land with olive grove and aromatic plants such as rosemary and lavender. Around the farmhouse numerous centuries-old carob trees.
The farmhouse also has a swimming pool area, natural grass lawns, lighted tennis court and soccer field
At guests' disposal are 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; 1 80-square-meter leaving area; 1 living room entrance; a grass lawn garden in front of the leaving area with a barbecue corner; and a laundry area.
The 6x12 swimming pool has an indoor whirlpool and is 1.5 m high. Around it, a large lawn with ancient olive trees, lavender and rosemary, ideal for shade for the hot and sunny summer days.
Upon request, aromatic plant trails and wine tasting in a cave with a stone oven, typical of rural Ragusa culture for baking focaccia and homemade bread.
The facility is equipped with a 10 KWh photovoltaic system on a canopy that serves as a parking lot.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can relax by the pool, surrounded by olive and carob trees, and use the pleasant whirlpool.
Near the pool area, there is a wooden structure used as a wellness area with a whirlpool bath, sauna, Turkish bath, emotional shower and two changing rooms with toilet, sink and shower.
Mountain bike trails around the grounds among the olive and carob trees.
Synthetic grasstennis court and soccer field.
