The agriturismo

In Val di Noto, in a hilly spot surrounded by age old olive and carob trees, this nineteenth century farmhouse enjoys a pleasant climate and has been completely renovated to create modern and comfortable guest accommodation, whilst still preserving the original architecture.

Walking around the estate you can smell the lesser calamint and wild thyme, and on the horizon you can spot the Hyblaean Coast, stretching from Pozzallo to the Isola delle Correnti. 

The accommodation

The agriturismo is accessed via a long communal entrance, with a patio and garden. Guest accommodation is provided in 8 one and two-room apartments, with bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, TVs and fully equipped kitchens.

 

Communal spaces include the breakfast room and the reading room with open fireplace, card table and TV.

 

Facilities include: breakfast, access for disabled guests, swimming pool, whirlpool, children’s pool, solarium, garden, children's play area, parking, shop selling typical produce, organisation of excursions. For hire: bikes, five-a-side football pitch and tennis court.

 


The structure has adapted to covid 19 prevention measures, keeping all services regularly active

The agriturismo is just a few km from the sea. The Val di Noto is home to several late baroque towns, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to their distinctive baroque monuments.

I have been managing Villa Flavia since 2014 along with a colleague.
As well as we welcome the guests, we are responsible for communication, we take care of the crops.
I decided to manage an agriturismo because to meet new and interesting people all the time
According to the guests, the best thing about our agriturismo is the chance to stay in a natural setting.
