strada Quartana,7 - Misiliscemi, Trapani 91100 Trapani (Trapani)
On the hills of western Sicily, between the historical cities of Trapani and Marsala, with the Erice mountain in the background and the Stagnone and Egadi archipelago in front, is the Sanacore Family commercial farm, one of the oldest fortified farms in the province. Today it offers relaxing and elegant holidays in welcoming rooms complete with all services and comforts.
The fortified farm dates back to the year 1000 with its Arabian wells used for preserving produce and its tower rising in the centre of the farm that dates back to the year 1200, proof of its antiquity.
From its warehouses, kitchens and cellars were built the lunch rooms, rooms for 2/3 people with heat, television, mini bar and personal bath.
The restaurant seats 160 with a view of the sea and the Egadi and Erice islands.
The structure also offers a meeting room equipped with a bar and sound system.
The commercial farm is located on the hills of western Sicily, between the historic cities of Trapani and Marsala with the Erice mountain in the background and the Stagnone and Egadi archipelago in front of it, in the Misiliscemi area.
The commercial farm is the starting point for fascinating excursions for discovering the many suggestive destinations found in the province of Trapani: the Trapani Salt Mine Natural Reserve, the Stagnone Natural Reserve, with the island of Mothia and the Egadi archipelago at its centre. For those who love history, Erice, the medieval city, Segesta, with its temple and theatre, and Selinunte, the largest archaeological park in Europe, are not to be missed.

We are two friends from Milan who with their wives have stayed for 5 nights at the farm Sanacore, an ancient beam and very impressive.
We are kindly welcomed by the owner Mr. Francesco, who immediately makes us feel as if we were at home, also telling us the story of the Norman Baglio.
We should have stayed only 3 nights, but given the optimal location of the farm that allowed you to easily reach cities, towns and places of interest, we asked to stay another 2 days and they kindly found the solution without changing the rooms. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and if you asked for something different, Salvatore lent himself to satisfy us.
We decided to stay for dinner on the last night of the stay and we did not make a mistake, all very good with specialties and products of the farm.
Thanks for the kind hospitality to all the Sanacore Family.

A marvelous agriturismo in a fortified farmhouse with an outstanding room in a Norman tower. One of my favourites out of the 10 or so agri's that I have stayed in over the last few years. The food was traditional Sicilian at it's best, the olive oil of the highest standard I have every tasted and the company interesting and attentive without being intrusive. It's a lovely location amidst the olive groves and within walking distance of the tiny town of Fontanasalsa for a cheeky beer before dinner. The main room in the tower takes glorious advantage of it's situation - I took many, many photos of sunset from it and then many, many of sunrise the next morning. Added bonuses are the the two friendly dogs and a varied and tasty breakfast. Cannot fault it, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
It was very pleasant to stay with the Sanacore brothers, thank you very much Nina!
