The agriturismo

An agriturismo just 2.5 km from the centre of San Vigilio di Marebbe, in beautiful alpine landscape amidst green meadows and the majestic peaks of the Dolomites.
 

This family run offers a taste of rural life, dedicated to protecting and preserving nature. The farm rears cows and hens, and produces fodder and firewood, vegetables and legumes.  Children can play in the play area or make friends with the farm animals.

The accommodation

To the stunning backdrop of the Sasso Croce and Sass de Putia, the sunny, peaceful guest apartments stand at 1350 metres altitude, surrounded by flower-filled meadows.
 

Three apartments feature kitchens, bathrooms with showers, one bedroom and a lounge, plus balcony and/or terrace. The fourth offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Activities and surrounding

San Vigilio di Marebbe is located on the southern side of the Plan de Corones ski area, at the entrance to the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. Wonderful trails in the Dolomites begin near the farm, and the slopes of the Plan de Corones ski area are only 350 m away (105 km of slopes).

Val Badia is home to the center of Ladin culture in South Tyrol with Ciastel de Tor Castle, now the Ladin Regional Museum, which preserves the history of the ancient Rhaeto-Romanic minority. The farm is in close proximity to the Fanes Plateau, Lake Braies, and the peaks of Piz da Peres and Sass de Putia.
