The agriturismo
At the heart of South Tyrol, on a 100-m slope, the Greiterhof ancestral home, run for generations by the Margesin family, in located on the sunny side of the commune of Lana, near the famous spa town of Merano.
The farm, nestled in the greenery of its own orchards and vines, is organically run, with delicious produce available for guests to purchase on site. You’ll receive a welcome aperitif made with organic apple juice, and fresh bread is available each morning on request.
The accommodation
The farm offers two fully renovated apartments, combining South Tyrolean tradition with modernity and comfort. Each one boasts two bedrooms with wooden floors (and one has a balcony), shower/bath, special shower, solid wood furniture, wood stove/traditional rural stove (typical Tyrolean “Stube” in one apartment), magazines and books, satellite TV, WLAN, dishwasher and underfloor heating.
You’ll also find a library, relaxation room, sauna (booking required), lawn with tables and chairs, barbecue, play area, five-a-side football, parking and a garage.
