The agriturismo

The fruit and wine farm is located above Cortaccia on the wine road, halfway between Bolzano and Trento. It has belonged to the family for more than 100 years and is surrounded by vineyards and apple trees. From the Mediterranean garden with organic swimming pool you have an excellent view towards the Dolomites. Both apartments have two bathrooms and a spacious living room. Guests have at their disposal all kinds of mountain guides and hiking maps and are offered private tours on the farm.

The accommodation

Guests will find two spacious 2-bedroom apartments, each with a bathroom (with shower and toilet). Both apartments have their own terrace/balcony and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. In each apartment there is an additional sofa bed in one room. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house.

 

In the Mediterranean garden there is a large lawn for sunbathing and an outdoor kitchen, where it is convenient to have breakfast by the pool. We offer our guests a breakfast basket full of homemade products such as muesli, jams and apple juice, which is a good start to the day. As a snack, depending on the season, fruits and vegetables directly from our garden are available.

 

The organic swimming pool is fed with water from our own Kraidl spring. The natural water is purified completely free of chemicals and has a calming effect. From there you have a wonderful view of the surrounding orchards, vineyards and the Dolomites.

Activities and surrounding

Directly from the farm there are numerous hiking trails for all ages. Only 10 km away are Lake Favogna and Lake Caldaro. In about 15 minutes on foot you can reach one of the most beautiful natural climbing walls in the area and the nearest towns are easily accessible by train and bus. At the valley floor there are 600 km of cycle paths along the Adige river or the Wine Road. For all action lovers there are numerous downhill trails or mountain bike tours in the surrounding mountains.

 

If the sun is not on our side, there are also numerous things to explore here in Southtyrol. The winary of Cortaccia with its excellent wines and the outstanding new building is the best place for all wine lovers or those who want to become one. The nearby cities of Bolzano and Trento and the many South Tyrolean museums are also definitely worth a visit.

 

Also during the cold season South Tyrol has a lot to offer. Apart from the numerous ski resorts and cross-country ski trails, there are also various events you should not miss. The Törggelen in autumn and the magical Christmas markets during Advent attract people from all over the world to our little village every year. A very important event, above all for the inhabitants of Cortaccia is the carnival period, the so-called fifth season. The various parades, such as the Egetmonn paradein Termeno, always leave you speechless and have to be seen.

 

With the WinePass, which is included in the price, you get discounts on selected events around the South Tyrolean Wine Road. You also get discounts for outdoor pools, museums, etc. and you can use public transport (bus, train, cable cars) for free.

We stayed at the Kraidlhof for 5 nights at the beginning of September. The apartment was newly renovated, very clean and is equipped with everything you need. The pool with a view leaves nothing to be desired.
