The agriturismo
This family run farm is surrounded by the Dolomites and the Alps, and offers a relaxed, cosy ambience. A 15 minute walk takes you to centre of Terento, known as the “sun village” thanks to its 2000 hours of bright sunshine per year.
Guests can enjoy delicious farm produce, from freshly collected milk to honey, fruit compotes, syrups, apple juice, eggs and yoghurt (on request).
The accommodation
The three guest apartments are all clean and simply yet functionally furnished, with TVs and Wi-Fi, bathrooms with towels, and kitchens with fridge, kettle, blender, crockery and towels. Abendrot and Morgenrot each offer two double bedrooms and a south-facing balcony; Rose is smaller, with one double bedroom.
On site, you’ll also find a children’s play area, with ping pong, table football, a slide, swings, sandpit, trampoline, play house, tree house, skateboards, wave boards and more.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is a little corner of paradise for children and adults, who can get up close to nature and discover life on the farm, helping in the stables, milking the cows, sleeping in the hayloft and playing in the open air.
The town of Terento is especially popular with hikers for its “malghe”, mountainside huts offering a place to rest and eat, and the challenging trails leading to the mountaintops. A ski lift takes you to the slopes for skating or cross-country skiing. In the town you’ll find a sports field, riding centre, mini golf and a play park.
