The agriturismo
An agriturismo in Laion, or Lajen, near the Val Gardena, surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites, close to the Eisack Valley and the regional capital Bolzano. Those who love winter sports will enjoy easy access to the slopes of Sella Ronda and the Seiser Alm.
The location is thought to date back to medieval times, but the renovation in 2006 brought new life to the place, and the introduction of wood-fuelled heating. The farm rears Tyrolean grey mountain cattle, whose milk is available for guests to enjoy, but you'll also find a dog, cats, pigs, hens and ducks.
The accommodation
The two guest apartments each boast free W-Lan internet, a lounge with dining area, sofa bed, flat screen TV, kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge, oven, coffee machine and kettle, a bathroom and a large scenic balcony. You’ll also find ski storage with boot-dryer, and a herb garden where you can pick delicious herbs freely.
Outside there’s guest parking, plus wide green space and a children’s play area. You can also enjoy fresh bread, milk and eggs delivered direct to your apartment. In the lounge there are board games, cards and a small library.
