The agriturismo

The Veralten farm is located on the south-facing side of the Val di Tires, in a very sunny and peaceful position at an altitude of 1,150 m with an enchanting view of the Dolomite massif of Catinaccio-Rosengarten.

The farm is the ideal starting point for hikes in the romantic Val Ciamin, on the surrounding peaks, to discover Mount Cavone and Catinaccio and in the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, whose edges run a short distance from home.

On the farm, livestock are raised and small fruits are biologically grown, from which elder and mint syrup and various jams are made

The accommodation

Guests can enjoy double and single rooms with a rich breakfast that always leaves everyone speechless: jams, syrups and homemade cakes, daily eggs, homemade berries, fresh herbs for a refreshing infusion and many other delicacies typical of the area!

Activities and surrounding

For adults, there are outdoor areas available on the farm (terrace, garden and pergola with a breathtaking view of the Catinaccio) and inside (common room with TV and satellite ... not to miss a single game!
For the little ones, a playground has been set up, which includes a swing, a sandbox, a table tennis table and a five-a-side football table. Also in the meeting room you can find different games and board games. And in case of bad weather, the farmhouse also offers a library!


To fully enjoy the agritouristic experience, you can ask for a guided tour of the farm! In addition to seeing the barn, you can experience hay picking, visit the herb garden and get to know the farm's animals: zebu, Jura brown sheep, proud rooster Freddy and his chickens, the four dwarf bunnies, dogs Lady and Nino, Obelix (the "fat cat") and Blacky (the "mouse specialist" cat)...

On request, we can also organize guided excursions to the fabulous surrounding mountains: to discover the Dolomites with their flora and fauna or simply to the Tieres alpine hut to see the cattle.

Also for those who want to refresh themselves with a bath the possibilities are different: the Laghetto di Fiè and the outdoor pools of Castelrotto and Nova Levante.

For long hikes, the owners are happy to prepare the "Holbmittog", a packed snack with refreshing juice, boiled egg, fresh fruit, a sandwich and some desserts.

And for those who are not going to drive on holiday, no problem! You can leave your car at the farm and get around easily by public transport: The "Mobilcard" card for the Alpe di Siusi area is included in the price and allows you to travel free of charge by bus and train throughout South Tyrol.
