The agriturismo

The rustic farmhouse is situated in a sunny and quiet location above St. Magdalena, at 1400 m above sea level, surrounded by forests and meadows with a magnificent view of the Geisler Group and the valley. Ideal starting point for hikes and excursions. It is a farm with grazing cows , chickens and cats.

At Verlotthof you can see and learn about real life on aSouth Tyrolean mountain farm. The field around the house is cultivated with much love and care.

The accommodation

Upon entering the four apartments, one immediately feels at home. The warm aura of spruce and larch wood , the clear walls and the immense view of the Villnöss valley bring joy and inner peace. All apartments, offering space for 2-4 people, are furnished in modern and traditional rural style, with solid larch wood floors from the farm's forest. All apartments are equipped with kitchen linens, bed linen, towels , a crib that can be added for small children, Wi-Fi line and satellite TV. The spacious apartments also have an oven and dishwasher.

Sandwiches for breakfast sandwiches or a breakfast basket with products from the farm are available by reservation. There is a children's playground, barbecue equipment available to all guests, a sunbathing lawn near the pond , and a sauna.

Laundry service is available at any time.

Activities and surrounding

Verlotthof is a true paradise for vacations with children, ideal for families because the little ones are free to roam in nature without running into danger. The farm is located two kilometers from the village of St. Magdalena.

On the farm, children experience a freedom to this day that is hard to find. They can play hide-and-seek or with a sandbox with toys, climb in the tree house. A large lawn with solarium, a true oasis of peace, is available for sunbathing by the pond.

Visits to the stables are organized. With children, it is then especially convenient to be able to set off on hikes directly from the Verlotthof, such as those to the Nature Park House or to the little church with the statue of St. Magdalene. A little more than an hour's hike takes you to the Zanser Alm. In winter, there is a small ski area right at St. Magdalena. Or, in less than an hour's drive you can reach the ski areas of Val Gardena,Alpe di Siusi, Plose or Plan de Corones.
