The accommodation
This country house has been renovated to preserve all of its original charm: guest accommodation is provided in independent apartments, complete with fully equipped kitchens, as well as rooms with private bathrooms. There are also communal lounges for relaxing amongst friends old and new.
The agriturismo also boasts its own restaurant, where guests can sample local specialties, from Chianina beef (including traditional T-bone steak), to vegetables from the vegetable garden, sheep?s milk cheese and wine from local wine cellars. The restaurant uses zero mile ingredients to ensure fresh, wholesome cuisine.
All guests receive a welcome aperitif, which they can enjoy whilst taking in the agriturismo's beautiful surroundings. The estate is just a few km from the medieval hamlet of Lucignano (awarded an Orange Flag by the Touring Club Italiano), on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena. Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagni Vignone, Montalcino and the province of Perugia are all worth a visit.
