The accommodation
The farm, located in a hilly area north of the town of Barberino di Mugello, is an organic farm, where genuineness and familiarity go hand in hand with modern ecological and eco-sustainable choices; from the installation of photovoltaic and solar panels, to the collection of rainwater, up to the wood heating. The desire is to transmit the peasant hospitality that has ancient origins, where those who came in peace, friend, relative, stranger, were welcomed into the family; here life still follows the rhythms of nature. The structure is divided between two adjacent farmhouses; Free WI-FI is available in both houses and surroundings. Casa Poli, on the first floor, consists of 3 double or twin bedrooms, all with private bathroom with shower and a small TV; they are available individually in bed and breakfast formula. It can also be rented in full for up to 6 + 2 people or half for up to 4 people, with the characteristic kitchen with fireplace and sitting area. Casa Zanieri sees on the first floor 2 apartments for 3 + 1 persons each, with spacious living room-kitchen, bathroom and double room with a small TV, available in the residence formula, while on the ground floor there is a room where breakfast is served and, in a room near the entrance, a reading room with a library. During your stay you can go trekking or discover the beauties of the place by bike, visit the villages of Mugello a few km away from the farm (San Piero a Sieve, Scarperia, Borgo San Lorenzo, Vaglia, Vicchio, Dicomano) or "Cimiteri" of Memory "built in memory of the fallen of the Second World War; for those wishing to spend a cultural day, instead, they can opt for the Museo Diffuso, a network of 15 museum points located throughout the Mugello area, which includes various museum points, educational workshops and itineraries.
