The agriturismo
An 80 hectare wine farm in the prosperous commune of Montespertoli, which since 1920 has produced liqueurs, honey and cereals, but above all award-winning extra virgin olive oil and wines. Its IGT reds and whites and Chiantis include Chianti Montespertoli and Chianti Classico DOCG (produced from almost 40 hectares of vines), and three of the farm's labels were awarded "2 Glasses" in the 2015 edition of the Gambero Rosso “Italian Wines” guide.
The agriturismo offers accommodation in a beautiful villa with private swimming pool, suitable for groups of up to 12 guests. You'll find Wi-Fi, grounds with a BBQ and a children's play area.
The accommodation
The traditional XIX century farmhouse VILLA, recently renovated with respect for the original materials and structures, has 4 large double bedrooms (one of which can be transformed into a triple on request), a twin room (with 2 singles or a double), a single room, two lounges, each with an open fire, 2 kitchen-diners with dishwasher, 3 bathrooms with showers and an additional bathroom. There are fans in all rooms.
The large loggia on the ground floor - enclosed with glass in the winter and heated - is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast and lunch in the open air, with views of the surrounding grounds.
You'll also find a laundry room with washing machine, a swimming pool and grounds with a BBQ. On request, you can enjoy breakfasts of homemade cakes, fruit, cereal, artisan jams, croissants, eggs, Chianti cured meats and more.
