The agriturismo

In the heart of Chianti, 35 km from Florence and 6 km from Certaldo stands, on the top of a hill, Fattoria Bacìo with its 140 ha cultivated mainly with vineyards, olive trees and cereals.

Fattoria Bacìo with its 19th-century manor house and lovingly restored farmhouses can accommodate about 60 people. The large garden with century-old trees and beautiful plants, part lawn, part paved in stone and terracotta, offers the possibility of outdoor dining. The swimming pool below (16m x 6.5m) overlooks the enchanting Chianti landscape.

Although the vast garden and pool are shared with all guests, there are great opportunities to create your own corner of tranquility

The accommodation

"Cascinale " is a lovely farmhouse situated in the vast garden. The atmosphere is purely Tuscan: wood-beamed and terracotta ceilings, white lime walls and terracotta floors. The apartment consists of: a large living room with sofas and characteristic fireplace, a dining area, a large kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small storage room.

"Casa Lorenzo " is a furnished apartment with wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Inside: living room with brick kitchenette, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Outside, under the porch, a lovely wood-burning oven for outdoor cooking.

"Casa Azalea " is a renovated farmhouse with wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Inside: living room, large kitchen with characteristic fireplace, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower.

"Casa Dante " is nestled in the pine forest adjacent to the villa. It is a finely renovated second floor apartment consisting of: large living room with kitchenette, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, storage room. The surrounding pine forest gives guests the opportunity to live in a peaceful atmosphere in complete relaxation.

"Casina " is a red-brick cottage surrounded by an olive grove. From the large terracotta-paved terrace , the wonderful view of the Tuscan hills. Inside: living room with kitchenette and fireplace, double bedroom, bathroom with shower. The apartment is heated with electric stoves.

"Palavigne 2 pax". Situated in the hills, immersed in the characteristic Tuscan landscape among olive trees, cypresses and vineyards, 300m from Villa Bacìo, a lovingly restored stone cottage with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Furnished with characteristic furniture it consists of: living room with kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, storage room. Equipped with a small outdoor courtyard where it is possible to dine outdoors.

"Palavigne 10 pax." Renovated farmhouse, 300 m. from Fattoria Bacìo, is completely immersed in an oasis of peace. The ground floor consists of a large living room with comfortable sofas and an unusual wood-burning fireplace; a large kitchen with a traditional fireplace . On the second floor are 5 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are typical of Tuscan rural architecture.

"Melograno " is a renovated farmhouse. On the ground floor an entrance hall with fireplace and small sofa, a kitchen-living room from which there is access to an outdoor terracotta-paved courtyard with table and chairs for outdoor dining. On the second floor two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

"Villa " is a prestigious period house, surrounded by a large garden with mature trees, stands on the top of a hill in a splendid panoramic position. The Villa consists of a large atrium from which you access the second floor. Where there is a large living room with 18th century sofas and mirror, fireplace, large dining room, large kitchen with fireplace, 9 bedrooms.

Oliveta

30 meters from Villa Bacìo, surrounded by an olive grove, the lovely farmhouse has been renovated in the traditional Tuscan style. On the ground floor large living room with characteristic fireplace, sofa bed and dining area. From the kitchen there is access to the terracotta-paved garden with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. On the second floor two bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.
The swimming pool (16m x 6.50m) located in the garden of Villa Bacìo in a splendid panoramic position is shared with the other guests.

Jasmine Apartment

Three-room apartment with separate entrance newly built May 2021 for 4/5 people, located in the main body of the farmhouse, located on the second floor with private veranda, inside a large and bright living room and fully equipped kitchen, 1 Double Room ,1 Double Room both of large size and a spacious bathroom with window, air conditioning and parking

Private Detached Villa with Vineyard View

Villa with independent entrance newly built May 2021 for 8/10 pax, located in open countryside surrounded by the beautiful Chianti vineyards, equipped outside with a large garden and private parking, barbecue areas, pizza oven and a 9×4 swimming pool for exclusive use.

Inside consists of 4 double bedrooms, two of which with the possibility of adding a 3rd bed and 2 full bathrooms with window, a large kitchen fully equipped and furnished with excellent finishes and a living room livable and bright, Air conditioning

The facility organizes for its guests:

- cooking classes (traditional, vegetarian and vegan) with professional chefs

-guided tours of the cities of Florence and Siena

- visits to the vineyards, olive groves and wineries of Fattoria Bacìo

- tastings of the award-winning wines and oils produced on the farm

The farm is also the ideal location for ceremonies and private events, also perfect for weddings, thanks to the presence of a small and charming Gentile Chapel.
