In the heart of Chianti, halfway between Florence and Siena, the farmhouse is located on the side of a hill 300 m above sea level and overlooks a green valley, embracing all around hills planted with olive trees and vines.
Next to the village a swimming pool, immersed in the olive grove and surrounded by a beautiful terrace, allows guests to fully enjoy the peace and quiet of the place.
The accommodation
In the heart of Chianti between Florence and Siena The "I Greppi Di Silli" farmhouse is located on the site of a 300mt. rise and looks out over a green valley, surrounded on all sides by cultivated hills covered in olive groves and vineyards.
The Borgo (village) of Silli offers 6 apartments of varying size, all carefully remodeled respecting the original structure of the buildings. Alongside the borgo, in the middle of the olive grove, a swimming pool has been built in harmony with the surroundings, allowing our guests to completely enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the location from the beautiful terrace with a view over the Tuscan landscape.
Activities and surrounding
It is possible to visit the winery where the company has been producing wine since its foundation, in which we will present and explain all the stages of processing, from the grapes to the aging of the wine.
In addition, you can participate in a guided tasting, combined with cheeses and cold cuts typical of the area. An experience not to be missed to really enjoy the flavors of Chianti!
At the reception desk you can buy Chianti Classico wine, the tasty extra virgin olive oil in its various selections, honey and our homemade jams. Taste the fresh eggs of the hens grazing in the fields and the healthy and natural cold cuts of the past once a year!
Ideal place for rest, as well as for movement, exercise and play. The good air of the countryside stimulates body and mind to fully immerse themselves in nature. A children's play area, a bowling green and a table tennis table are located in different corners of the company.
A riding stable 1 km away is available for exciting walks in the hills of Chianti Classico, both for beginners and for those who are already experienced.
